New York State Health Foundation Grant

The New York State Health Foundation has a grant opportunity that is due September 15, 2006.  This is a new foundation that is dedicated to improving the health of all New Yorkers.   The mission of the foundation is to:

• Expand health insurance coverage
• Increasing access to high-quality health care services for the undeserved
• Improving public and community health

Grant Sources

Up until this point in time a significant portion of telemedicine programs have been funded by grants.  Grants will always play an important role in telemedicine and if the funding is available it makes sense to leverage it.

Tel-e-Atrics provides the infrastructure for the Nationally renowned Health-e-Access program.   This program has  leveraged significant grant sources to get their network up and operational.
